  Oblique Photo Flights Vertical Photo Flights Oblique Photo Flights All oblique photo flights begin with an in-depth consultation to determine flight parameters, such as subject, area to be captured, direction, altitude and end use of the imagery. Our photographer then takes to the air in a Hughes 300 helicopter for maximum maneuverability. Using a medium format camera, images are acquired on traditional film, processed and proofed. Approximately 6-8 shots are taken of each site. Proofs can be emailed or reviewed in person. Once an image is selected it goes into Aerial Access’ normal production flow. Flights are typically dependent on weather conditions. However, images can be acquired at any time if needed. All negatives and copyrights remain the property of Aerial Access. Flight prices begin at $325.00. All vertical imagery is acquired from a fixed wing aircraft with a high-resolution aerial camera mounted in the belly of the plane. The camera uses a six-inch focal length lens to produce a nine-inch negative. Our airplanes are equipped with onboard GPS for flight navigation and camera management systems for accurate photo centers. The imagery can be used for photogrammetry (mapping & surveying), ortho-photos, sales packages, site analysis and selection, land-use and municipal planning. Images can be acquired from as low as 1,000’ up to 30,000’ in black and white, color and color infrared.
